Cebu City, Philippines – The countdown is on! EastWest officially launched the much-anticipated EastWest Dream Run during a press conference in Cebu on March 19, 2025. As part of its 30th Anniversary celebrations, EastWest is making fitness, community spirit, and big dreams more accessible than ever—inviting every runner, fitness enthusiast, and dreamer to be part of this milestone event.

Bringing the Dream Run to Cebu & Davao

The EastWest Dream Run is making waves in Cebu, Davao, and Manila—three of the most passionate running communities in the country. With an inspiring theme of chasing dreams and breaking limits, this event features an exciting and inclusive lineup of race categories—from a 1K dog run for fur parents and their four-legged companions to the highly anticipated 30K endurance challenge, perfect for those ready to test their limits.

“We wanted the EastWest Dream Run to be something that every Filipino, no matter where they are, can be part of,” said Martin Reyes, EastWest’s Head of Marketing. “That’s why we’re bringing it to key cities like Cebu and Davao, where the running culture is strong. We can’t wait to see thousands of runners cross that finish line.”

A Race for Every Runner

The EastWest Dream Run 2025 is for everyone—casual joggers, seasoned competitors chasing a personal best, or those looking to create lasting memories with family, friends, or their beloved dogs. With distances ranging from 1K to the ultimate 30K challenge, there’s a race for every level of endurance and ambition.

Among the most anticipated features is the 1K Dog Run, where runners can share the excitement with their four-legged companions, making for a lively and family-friendly experience. The energy of bounding paws and eager strides turns this race into a joyful celebration of movement and companionship.

For those seeking the ultimate endurance test, the 30K pushes both physical and mental limits, rewarding strategy, resilience, and sheer willpower. This distance demands not only stamina but also the grit to keep moving when every muscle begs to stop, making the finish line a true mark of perseverance.
Legendary race organizer Coach Rio de la Cruz, the force behind some of the country’s most celebrated runs, is bringing his expertise to ensure a world-class race experience. “Running isn’t only about reaching the finish line—it’s about testing your limits, discovering your rhythm, and embracing the entire journey,” said Coach Rio. “It’s exciting to see EastWest bring this experience to more cities, giving more Filipinos the opportunity to set their goals and achieve them.”

The EastWest Dream Run 2025 is officially making waves in the Queen City of the South. EastWest leaders, Coach Rio, and the Dream Run team came together to celebrate this exciting milestone—bringing Cebuano runners a race experience like no other.

EastWest’s Es Vidaurreta, Lead for Brand Activations, took the stage alongside Coach Rio to share how the EastWest Dream Run 2025 is more than just a race—it’s a movement. With thrilling categories, exclusive perks, and a meaningful cause, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
